Financial Analyst

This position is responsible for supporting the preparation of financial analysis and performance reporting deliverables for the IMDEX Group, as well as supporting budget and forecast processes and associated deliverables for the group. The position also supports functional owners across the corporate team in budget/forecast submissions and monitoring of performance. Success in this role is demonstrated by the provision of accurate, timely and insightful financial analysis, budget and forecast information across the group.

• Supports the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for the group.
• Supports the regional budget/forecast submissions.
• Supports periodic updates to the Corporate Financial Model.
• Works as a central point of contact for budget process related queries from users.
• Key contact for NAM and SAM regions
• Update and maintain the relevant process documentations.

• Group budgets and forecasts are completed efficiently in accordance with the timetable and to the required quality.
• Delivery of accurate and insightful financial information required for the Executive team and Board.

• Supports delivery of the monthly Group Performance report and Board Report.
• Works closely with Regional Finance Teams to provide quality financial analysis and insights on business performance.
• Works closely with key stakeholders across regional teams (primarily NAM & SAM) to support management of actual spend against budget/forecast.
• Supports governance activities in relation to application of the IMDEX capital investment policy and guidelines.
• Supports the broader Group Finance and Investor Relations teams in preparation of financial analysis to support reporting to the external market.

• Monthly reporting deliverables are completed efficiently in accordance with the timetable and to the required quality.
• Quality financial analysis for decision support.

• Supports the team in the development/optimization of integrated planning capabilities across the business to optimize the short-term financial planning processes.
• Supports user testing of the new feature releases in TM1.

• Increased efficiency and quality in the short-term planning process for the group.

• Works collaboratively with TM1, BI and Pronto subject matter experts in leveraging reporting capabilities and developing best practice reporting and short-term financial planning processes.

• Fit-for purpose Performance Reporting providing regional and executive management teams with the required insights.

• Supports the broader Group Finance team through the provision of financial analysis to monitor/manage certain foreign exchange exposures.

• Proactively monitors the working capital and FX exposure position across the group.

• Regularly challenges peers or superiors when the situation arises. Discusses the consequences of unacceptable behavior and offers alternative solutions.
