Department Profile Operations is one of the largest divisions in the firm and has diverse responsibilities, including correctly settling and recording millions of transactions per day, identifying and mitigating all operational risks, developing strong client relationships and partnering with technology to realize the full potential of IT and e-solutions. Throughout, the Operations department continually seeks ways to improve while actively supporting the development of new businesses, structures and markets.

The Private Banking Operations High Net Worth Collateral Monitoring department is seeking a Director candidate. This Director is expected to perform a broad range of Operational, Regulatory compliance, and transaction/reporting functions within securities based lending collateral monitoring. A significant part of the role will be to apply a broad range operational and regulatory controls in support of transaction approvals across the security based lending products that are funded by the Morgan Stanley Banks.

The candidate should be able to communicate to Collateral Managers, Credit Risk, Technology and the field. To meet this requirement it is preferred the candidate possess comprehension of the investment markets and the rules and regulations of the financial Exchanges. Additionally, they must be capable of implementing any new firm or regulatory directives and their impact on the team's policies and procedures.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel, Visio and Power Point
