Global Banking & Markets - Salt Lake -Senior Associate, Client Reporting

Job Duties

Senior Associate, Client Reporting with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Build, distribute, and ensure the accuracy of reports provided to clients for use in their daily OTC derivative investment reconciliation and monthly books and records. Understand and ensure the daily performance of the EBCSs of the Dodd Frank Act's "Daily Marks" reporting requirement. Develop Business Intelligence capabilities that identify risk derived from the correlation of quantitative and qualitative data.

Collaborate with multiple areas in the Firm including trading desks, sales desks, desk strategists, structuring groups, operations, technology, legal, and compliance departments globally. Process improvement in Equity Derivatives and trade management of Equity Derivatives. Process improvement in Fixed Income (bonds, notes, rates, currency, and commodities) and trade management of the same.

Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master's degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) with: working with regulatory guidelines including CFTC Rule 23.504, EMIR Article 11, and SEC Rule 15c3-3;

working with Over-the-Counter (OTC) Derivatives; working with Data analytics tools including Alteryx, Tableau, and SQL; in Depth working knowledge of Dodd Frank Act's "Daily Marks" reporting requirement; communicating with business stakeholders and team members; creating complex data workflows, visualizing data trends, and performing advanced SQL queries to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently; and utilizing platforms including Markitwire and Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) & Trioptima.
