Role DescriptionThe CFO / Real Estate Fund Raiser is a full-time, on-site role based in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area. This role oversees financial strategy, planning, and reporting for the company’s real estate investments and funds. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing cash flow and capital structure, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. The role leads fundraising efforts, including sourcing and engaging investors, preparing investment materials, negotiating terms, and supporting closing processes for new funds and deals.
The CFO / Real Estate Fund Raiser partners with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio performance, and provides clear financial insights to guide investment decisions and long-term growth.
- Strong finance and financial planning skills, with experience developing budgets, forecasts, and long-term capital plans.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting financial statements and financial reporting, including GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate investment opportunities, risk, and portfolio performance.
- Proven experience in real estate finance, fund formation, and capital raising from institutional or accredited investors.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for investor relations and senior leadership reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, including managing cross-functional teams and external advisors.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory and ethical compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA designation is preferred.
- Prior experience as a CFO, finance executive, or senior real estate investment professional is strongly beneficial.
