Sera Prognostics, Inc., an innovative women’s health care company based in Salt Lake City, is seeking a highly accomplished Head of Marketing
. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success and will be responsible for leading Sera’s strategic direction, execution, and optimization of all marketing initiatives for our clinical laboratory and in vitro diagnostic (IVD) product portfolio. This executive will be responsible for driving brand awareness, market penetration, and revenue growth in the US and across international markets, while ensuring alignment with regulatory, clinical, and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities will also include leading and developing a high-performing marketing team.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy for Clinical Laboratory Tests and IVD products.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align marketing goals with corporate objectives.
  • Build and lead high performing marketing department that works cross functionally with other departments.
  • Lead market segmentation, competitive analysis, and customer insights.
  • Partner with R&D, Data Science, Laboratory Operations, IT, Quality/Regulatory, Legal, and the rest of the Commercial team to guide product development.

Commercial Enablement

  • Oversee creation of sales tools, training materials, and promotional campaigns.
    Drive digital marketing initiatives for commercial products including SEO/SEM and content strategy, social medial platforms and via other women’s healthcare entities.
  • Responsible for identifying and developing Key Opinion Leaders. Partnering with KOLs to gain market research.
  • Development of market strategies for conferences and symposiums.
  • Working with Medical on the execution of product theaters and podium presentations.
  • Work with medical to create training content for the field that aligns with corporate directives.
  • Assist with training; developing and delivering training curriculum.

Global Execution

  • Manage marketing team and agency partners.
  • Monitor and optimize marketing performance metrics.
  • Collaboration with our Global partners.

Compliance & Collaboration

  • Ensure marketing practices comply with applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Clinical teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7-10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in diagnostics, IVD, or medical device industries, specifically in women’s health.
  • Experienced in launching and scaling global markets.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory environments and clinical workflows in diagnostics.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with digital health platforms, AI-enabled diagnostics, or laboratory-developed tests (LDTs).
  • Familiarity with MDSAP, CE marking, and global reimbursement strategies.
  • Multilingual capabilities or international market experience.
