We are currently looking for an enthusiastic CT Technologist to cover both X-ray and CT k's Free Standing Emergency Departmentlocatedin West Valley City! 

In our department, you will work independently in radiology providing imaging services to outpatients and ER patients, alongside the friendly ER staff. The equipment on site is a CT GE Revolution EVO & X-ray GE Optima XR646/XR220. There are always opportunities to learn new things and be challenged in your career.

In this role:

• You will administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for any allergic reactions; place the correct IV for the exam being performed.

• You will be loading and operating
  
  MedRadpower injector.

• You will operate and understand CT & X-ray equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.

• You will bemaintaininga clean work environment andstockthe department with supplies and linens.

• You will be moving, lifting, and assisting patients on to and off the scanner table.

• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (CT) Computed Tomography, or (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
