Job Summary

The Corporate Wellness Facilitator is responsible for planning, designing, implementing, delivering, and evaluating comprehensive health promotion programs across the organization. These programs may include fitness orientations, health screenings, health risk assessments, health and fitness fairs, educational events, and motivational contests. The role also involves generating analytical reports on wellness program tracking, utilization, and overall effectiveness.

Due to on-site work requirements, applicants must reside near Salt Lake City.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Program Leadership: The Corporate Wellness Facilitator chairs and facilitates the Healthy Living Committee to develop and execute annual goals and objectives for the Select Health Share program and other company health and wellness initiatives.
  • Marketing and Communication: Develop and implement an effective marketing and communication strategy to engage all team members—both wholesale and retail—in health and wellness initiatives. Create compelling program materials and promotional incentives.
  • Vendor

    Collaboration:

    Partner with vendors to promote health and wellness through available resources, such as educational materials, nutritional promotions, and fitness center discounts.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and lead wellness initiatives that serve over 5,000 employees across our organization, ensuring consistent engagement and accessibility, and aligning efforts with company goals.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate comprehensive reports on wellness program tracking and utilization, analyzing outcomes to drive improvements and inform future programming.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the wellness initiatives of the organization.
Position Requirements
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in health and Fitness Promotion or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Two or more years of experience in delivering and coordinating corporate health education and promotion programs preferred. Wellness coaching experience is a plus.
  • Certifications: Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) certification preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of the design, planning, implementation, and evaluation of health and wellness programs, events, and classes.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity.
    • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
    • Proficiency in developing, implementing, marketing, and promoting wellness programs.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based applications.
    • Strong presentation and time management skills.
Physical/Sensory Demands
  • The Corporate Wellness Facilitator will actively participation in health and wellness events, including physical exercise activities. This is required.
  • Local travel may be necessary to attend events and meetings.
  • Most work will be conducted in a typical office environment, with a focus on collaboration and engagement in wellness initiatives.
