Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We currently have an opening for a Sonographer Ultrasound Tech to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. This position must be able to utilize ultrasound equipment to locate, evaluate and record pertinent anatomical, pathological and functional data, using ultrasound equipment to aid the physician in the diagnosis of disease and injury.
Demonstrates the ability to meet the needs and provide service to the pediatric population. Competent in providing services for the culturally diverse population that Shriners Children's serves.
Per Diem
Compensation rangePay range for this position is $30.13/hr - $45.20/hr the hired applicant's placement within the range is based on qualifications, professional experience and education.
Quality assessment practices- Accurately interprets oral and written requests stated in radiologic and medical terms
- Notifies imaging Manager of equipment malfunction and obtains necessary repairs.
- Assists in maintaining imaging files to ensure easy irretrievability in a timely manner.
- Assists in the preparation of images for interpretation and imaging reports for image file jackets.
- Performs radiological services to hospital standards including X-rays and Ultrasounds.
- Repeat analysis is kept at or below 5%.

- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within 3 months of hire date
- 1 year of pediatric abdominal ultrasound experience
