Speech-Language Pathologist at Ear, Nose, and Throat Center of Utah!
We are looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a significant impact in a specialized ENT setting. The Ear, Nose, and Throat Center of Utah is seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic and supportive medical team. This is an exciting opportunity to specialize in dysphagia and voice disorders within a collaborative outpatient environment.
Job SummaryYou will be an integral part of our patient-centered clinic, providing specialized assessment and treatment for individuals with dysphagia and voice disorders for our ENT patients. Our comfortable outpatient setting fosters a collaborative atmosphere where you'll work alongside experienced ENTs, physical therapists, audiologists, and a fellow SLP to provide comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments, including FEES (Fiber optic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) and Videolaryngostroboscopy.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for dysphagia and voice disorders, utilizing traditional and evidence-based therapies.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage a diverse caseload, including other speech-language pathology disorders as needed
While experience with FEES and videolaryngostroboscopy is preferred, we are committed to professional growth and offer comprehensive on-site training for qualified candidates. Skill and experience with traditional dysphagia treatments and voice therapies are strongly preferred.
This position offers flexibility for either part-time or full-time employment. Work is completed during weekdays only, providing an excellent work-life balance with weekends and major holidays off.
LocationOur center is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, with multiple conveniently located offices across the valley. This position will primarily serve our Downtown Salt Lake City and Millcreek offices. While reliable transportation is required, assessment and treatment are typically completed in only one location on a daily basis, minimizing travel time between appointments.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications- Master’s degree or doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
- Current Utah license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for licensure by the agreed-upon start date.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Prior experience with FEES and Videolaryngostroboscopy.
- Specialized experience in head and neck cancer rehabilitation and voice therapy..
Salary starting at $36 per hour, negotiable depending on experience.
