Manor on 1st is an assisted living level 2 facility with 54 beds located in downtown Salt Lake City. Our facility is physician owned and operated by a kind and compassionate MD with over 20 years of assisted living experience.
We are currently accepting resumes for a Resident Care Coordinator. This is a full time position (8am--4pm or 9am--5pm) with on call responsibilities. This person serves as the operational leader of day-to-day resident care services.
This person works closely with the Executive Director and nursing leadership. The RCC oversees Med Tech staff, manages medication systems and scheduling, and ensures each resident's care plan is carried out with excellence.
The RCC provides daily direction and mentorship to Med Tech staff and helps create a culture where:

Responsibilities Clinical Operations Leadership- Oversee daily care operations for the community
- Supervise and support Medication Technicians and caregivers
- Ensure proper execution of resident care plans
- Monitor care delivery for quality, timeliness, and consistency
- Coordinate medication administration schedules
- Order medications from the pharmacy
- Ensure compliance with physician orders and service plans
- Monitor documentation accuracy in MARs
- Support safe medication storage, delegation, and administration
- Assist in auditing medication systems for compliance
- Schedule Med Tech coverage
- Ensure proper delegation and competency of staff
- Support shift coverage needs and staffing coordination
- Assist with onboarding and training of care staff
- Communicate resident needs to interdisciplinary team
- Serves as point of contact with home health agencies, family, and physicians
- Support assessments and care plan updates
- Monitor changes in condition and elevate appropriately
- Help ensure smooth transitions for new residents
- Support adherence to Utah R432-270 assisted living regulations
- Maintain accurate care documentation systems
- Assist with survey readiness
- Support incident follow-up and service plan tracking
- Experience in Assisted Living (preferably Type II)
- Medication Technician experience or certification
- Demonstrated leadership or lead caregiver experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of ADL support and service planning
- Ability to oversee medication systems
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Food Handler's Permit
- RCC, CNA, MA, or LPN background
- Experience in care coordination

- Familiarity with Utah assisted living regulations
