Overview
Hotel Maintenance Technician, Hyatt House Salt Lake City Downtown
Join a 2025 USA Today Top Workplace Winner! Starting at $19-$21/hour, experienced candidates may qualify for a higher wage. Flexible availability required on Monday to Friday, weekends, and holidays. Open to both Morning and Evening shifts.
What You’ll Do- Respond to maintenance requests and support the upkeep of the property.
- Perform guest room preventative maintenance (painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks, HVAC cleaning).
- Maintain grounds, landscaping, outbuildings, and parking areas in a clean, safe, and attractive manner.
- Assist in maintaining pool, spa, and general property areas according to local codes and brand standards.
- Promptly respond to reports of guest problems and concerns.
- Prior hotel, building, or apartment maintenance experience is desirable, but not required.
- General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building construction.
- Operational knowledge of common power and hand tools.
- Ability to perform task-oriented, repetitive functions consistently, on time and error-free.
- Ability to be patient and creatively problem solve.
