Talent Manager, Employee Relations
Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven HR Programs & Training Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate learning programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and organizational growth. The ideal candidate will assess training needs, develop and maintain engaging learning materials and deliver effective development initiatives aligned with company objectives. This role will also serve as the primary administrator of the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) and support onboarding and employee development programs.
EssentialDuties And Responsibilities Learning Management Systems (LMS) Administration
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter lead for Paycom LMS, responsible for managing training across the organization.
- Assigning and maintaining company-wide training (required and elective).
- Managing training compliance tracking, reporting and documentation.
- Coordinating with departments to support role‑specific and departmental training initiatives.
- Building and maintaining a scalable training calendar aligned with business needs.
- Monitoring training completions and following up with managers to ensure accountability.
- Conduct surveys, interviews, and consult managers to identify skill gaps and training needs across the organization.
- Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, guides, and digital learning content to support identified training needs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create relevant and engaging learning resources.
- Conduct training sessions in person, online, or in hybrid formats.
- Review the effectiveness of training programs using assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Support new hire onboarding programs and ongoing employee development initiatives.
- Assist with leadership development and organizational training initiatives as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
- 5 – 7 years of experience in training, instructional design, learning & development, or employee development programs.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to assess training effectiveness and translate business needs into learning solutions.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training or content development tools.
- Experience with Paycom LMS administration.
- Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM, APTD or CPTD).
- Experience in performance management and talent development strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, occasionally high‑pressure environment.
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret HR‑related policies and procedures, and regulations.
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to move throughout the office to access files, office equipment, and meet with staff as needed.
- Occasional lifting of office materials up to 15 pounds.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours when necessary to meet critical HR priorities or deadlines.
- Ability to attend on‑site meetings at Teal’s Salt Lake facility, with the flexibility to work remotely as needed.
