System Administrator II – Reflexive Concepts
Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled System Administrator II to join our team! The System Administrator must provide Infrastructure Server and Sustainment services, which the Government will use to enhance and complement High Performance Computing (HPC) sustainment capabilities across two sites and geographic locations, to include the integration and management of the Exceptionally Controlled Information (ECI) data system. Server Ops team members and the Government monitoring service (in some cases 24x7x365) both monitor systems.
All systems will be integrated and utilize Government monitoring services. The Government monitoring service will monitor and report problems to the team via email/phone during business hours.
- Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
- Provide Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Support all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc., including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution.
- Assist in escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide in-depth troubleshooting of IT systems.
- Deliver detailed analysis and feedback for escalated tickets.
- Support the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process.
- Configure and manage Linux, Unix, and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems, install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components, implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- B.S. in a technical discipline and 5 years’ experience as a System Administrator on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required, or 10 years’ experience in lieu of degree.
- DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required.
