Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Architect to guide our project teams in transforming processes to meet our finance transformation goals. The Business Architect will play a pivotal role in advising Global Process Owners (GPOs) and Workstream Leads, ensuring alignment to our strategic and tactical vision.
Responsibilities- Process Transformation:
Guide project teams in transforming processes to achieve finance transformation goals. Advise GPOs and Workstream Leads, ensuring alignment with the vision and technology decisions made by the Technical Architect. - Strategy:
Support complex strategies and solutions, leveraging Oracle Fusion Cloud's capabilities effectively. Ensure that future business operations and processes align with and support the business strategy and growth, with a focus on guiding principles. - Business & Functional Requirements:
Confirm business and functional requirements, working with governance to approve end-to-end process design. Validate to-be design and provide metrics for measuring success and defining what "done" and "success" look like. - Process Optimization:
Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement. Work on streamlining and rationalizing processes to ensure the Oracle Fusion Cloud is used productively and efficiently. - Cross-Functional Communication:
Advocate for organizational change and collaborate with the Technical Architect, Solutions Manager, and Finance Transformation Lead on Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions. Work closely with the Change Management team and Buyer Stakeholders to obtain alignment to the standard future processes and serve as the escalation point for any requested changes. - Leadership:
Manage and oversee work of data cleansing and certification, finance master data, finance reporting, and testing and quality assurance team members. Participate within the governance framework to ensure consistent and effective use of the ERP system.
- Ensuring alignment between business requirements, process transformations, and complex system configurations.
- Translating high-level strategic goals into practical, executable solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration with multiple teams to ensure smooth alignment and timely sharing of information.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field;
Business Architecture, Process Management, or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) preferred. - Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in business architecture, with a focus on large-scale business process transformations, preferably in the financial or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven experience in business architecture and finance transformation projects.
- Strong background in designing, optimizing, and transforming financial business processes.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end process design and governance.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud and its capabilities.
- Proven experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex solutions.
- Ability to advocate for organizational change and drive alignment with strategic goals.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively share information across functional areas.
- Strong knowledge of financial business processes and the ability to map and transform those processes across systems.
- Experience working with system integrators and functional work streams in large scale delivery environments.
- Familiarity with complex strategies and solutions in the context of ERP Digital Transformation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
