About the Internship

At the forefront of patient-focused research, the BCI Clinical team uncovers the scientific insights that make tomorrow's brain-computer interfaces possible. Our neuroscientists, engineers, and clinicians work side by side with research and engineering partners to tackle the most pressing challenges in BCI. We champion rigorous experimental design, thoughtful inquiry, and a collaborative spirit.

Technical Skills

* Strong Python programming and software engineering fundamentals

* Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, Tensor Flow, scikit-learn)

* Signal processing expertise (filtering, Fourier/wavelet transforms, feature extraction)

* Knowledge of neural decoding methods and real-time data streaming

Analytical Abilities

* Ability to build and validate predictive models

* Statistical rigor in model evaluation and performance tuning

* Data-wrangling skills for large, high-dimensional datasets

Personal Qualities

* Curiosity and creativity in algorithm design

* Collaborative mindset for working with engineers, clinicians, and researchers

* Comfort explaining complex data insights to mixed audiences
