Data Engineer, Data Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Sr. Analytics Engineer to join our team. This role will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and enhance employee, patient and resident experiences within the senior living, home health, hospice, and home care industries.
Key Responsibilities Data Engineering- Build and maintain efficient ETL pipelines across EHRs, HRIS, financial systems, and other sources.
- Optimize data models for performance and scale.
- Ensure data quality through validation and cleansing processes.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
- Design scalable Star Schemas aligned with business requirements.
- Develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports for KPIs like turnover, labor costs, and satisfaction scores.
- Tailor visualizations for executives, HR, operations, and clinical teams.
- Work closely with teams to deliver data solutions that meet their needs.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Document pipelines, models, and dashboards for maintainability.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in Data Analytics Engineering, Data Architecture, or similar roles.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Systems, Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
- Technical
Skills:- Strong SQL for extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, ODS, and Kimball methodologies.
- Experience with modern data stack tools (e.g., dbt, Snowflake) as user and admin.
- Other
Skills:
Strong analytical problem‑solving, excellent communication, and effective collaboration.
