The Application Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for application-related technical support and plays a key role in maintaining the stability and performance of our core business systems. This position supports internal users by troubleshooting issues, managing access requests, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring seamless application functionality across the organization.

- Application Support
- Provides primary support for all core business applications (e.g., McLeod, Factorsoft, Method, and related systems)
- Manages user account provisioning, access requests, and permission changes.
- Troubleshoots application issues across Tier 2, and Tier 3 levels; escalates to vendors, senior admins, or engineers as needed
- Coordinates with vendors on incidents, enhancements, patches, and system changes
- Supports application upgrades, testing, documentation, and release communications
- Participates in regular one-on-one meetings with leadership to review workload, priorities, and development
- Supports IT-led projects with a focus on application delivery and adoption
- Acts as a role model for application uptime, responsiveness, and customer service
- Approaches application issues with strong prioritization and root-cause analysis
- Ensures clear communication with users regarding outages, issues, and resolutions
- Maintains thorough documentation and timely follow-up on application incidents and requests
- Demonstrates a solution-focused mindset when supporting business-critical systems
- Seeks opportunities to improve application usability, reliability, and efficiency
- Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting enterprise business applications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting ERP, TMS, CRM, or operational systems preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Active Directory and role-based access management
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Microsoft 365 applications
- Strong troubleshooting and vendor coordination experience
- Familiarity with scripting or automation (Power Shell) is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple application issues in a high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
