• 4+ years of IT experience, with a focus on Network Engineering

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Excellent customer service and troubleshooting abilities

• Certification (or ability to obtain within one year):

  • CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent)

  • CompTIA Network+ (or equivalent)

  • CCNA (or equivalent)

• Advanced experience with:

  • Virtual networks (VMware, Hyper-V)

  • WAN & LAN technologies (MPLS, SD-WAN, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, QoS, Next-Gen Firewalls)

  • Cloud networking (Azure, AWS)

  • Network Security (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, endpoint security applications)

  • Wireshark & network troubleshooting tools

• Basic knowledge of SNMP management tools and Python scripting (preferred)

• Experience with Scale computing a plus

• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation

• Maintain and support customer network infrastructures, including firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and security tools

• Troubleshoot and deploy network configurations to optimize performance and security

• Install, configure, and maintain Next-Gen Firewalls, SIEM security software, and endpoint security tools

• Document network configurations and changes using Network Diagrams

• Provide Tier 2 support and escalate complex issues to Tier 3 as needed

• Lead and manage medium-sized projects independently

• Collaborate with engineers and help desk technicians to ensure timely issue resolution

• Participate in on-call support rotation (voluntary unless necessary)
