Standard work schedule 9/80: nine‑hour days Monday through Thursday, every other Friday off. Competitive relocation assistance may be offered.

Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and maintain infrastructure and/or cloud resources to host, run, and support applications throughout the SDLC.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Write scripts and configurations to automate software testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Proactively monitor build and deployment pipelines and infrastructure, apply patches, troubleshoot issues, and resolve errors.
  • Automate infrastructure and/or cloud resource deployments using infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
  • Remediate findings from vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
  • Informally mentor staff in Dev Ops concepts and processes.
  • Collaborate with peers and business partners to identify workflows where automation improves efficiency or reduces costs.
  • Provide application support: configuration, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Serve as Product Owner, managing priorities, scope, and schedule as needed.
  • Provide rotating 24/7 on‑call support; rotation is one week out of every 8‑12 weeks.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or 10 years with a master’s degree, or 8 years with a Ph.D., or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • U.S. citizen with active Secret clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret/SAP clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within 6 months of hire.
  • 4 years experience with build tools (e.g., Maven, Ant, GNU make) and/or continuous integration environments (e.g., Jenkins, Git Lab, Bamboo) and/or repositories (e.g., Nexus, JFrog).
  • 2 years experience with Jira/Confluence in an Agile environment.
  • Proficiency with Linux‑based software development tools.
  • 4 years experience with Microsoft and Linux Red Hat operating systems.
  • 4 years experience with scripting languages (e.g., PERL, Python, Bash, YAML).
  • 4 years Dev Ops experience with container technologies supporting CI/CD pipelines.
  • 4 years experience with container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, Open Shift) or virtualization technologies.
  • LevelII certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or ability to obtain within 1 month.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
  • Experience as a Product Owner or other technical leadership position in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation within the last 6 years.
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or equivalent.
  • Experience with source code configuration management tools (e.g., git).
  • Experience with Hashi Corp Packer and Vault.
  • Familiarity with container hardening and SBOM.
  • Certified SAFe Product Owner.
  • Proven ability to resolve conflicts within teams.
  • Proven ability to hold team members accountable for completing work on schedule and within budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
  • Availability for after‑hours, on‑call, and 24/7 coverage as required by program needs.
Compensation

Primary Salary Range: $ - $. Base salary is based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long‑term incentives for VP/Director positions.
