Senior HR Technology Engineer (HR Systems / ATS / LMS / Talent Platforms)Join a globally recognized professional services organization investing heavily in modern HR technology and enterprise applications.
This is a hands-on HR technology engineering role focused on HR systems modernization, enterprise application support, integrations, and future platform implementations. The team is specifically seeking someone with broad experience across ATS, LMS, performance management, and HR/talent platforms — not just payroll or one isolated HR system.
- Location: Houston, TX or Salt Lake City, UT (Hybrid)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Compensation:
- Houston: $149K–$166K base + bonus
- Salt Lake City: $145K–$164K base + bonus
This role supports a global HR technology environment and will play a major part in the firm’s upcoming transition away from People Soft into a new HR platform ecosystem. The team is looking for someone who has experience with:
- HR system implementations or migrations
- Stakeholder-facing HR technology work
- Integrations, APIs, and SaaS platforms
You’ll work closely with HR leadership, security, vendors, and technical teams while owning end-to-end delivery and support for HR applications.
Core Responsibilities- Support and enhance HR technology platforms across recruiting, learning, performance, and talent management
- Lead or contribute to HRIS / ATS / LMS implementations and migrations
- Provide Level 3 support for complex HR application issues
- Build and maintain integrations using APIs and SaaS technologies
- Partner directly with HR stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Support reporting, analytics, documentation, and system optimization
- Collaborate with vendors, security, and infrastructure teams
- 7+ years supporting HR technology platforms
- Strong experience with multiple HR technologies, including:
- ATS platforms
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Performance Management systems
- Experience with HR platform implementations, upgrades, or migrations
- Strong stakeholder communication and business-facing experience
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and SaaS applications
- Ability to troubleshoot and support enterprise production environments
- SQL, Java, .NET, or Python exposure
- SSO / SAML / OAuth experience
- Microsoft Azure or identity management exposure
The strongest candidates will have broad HR technology experience across multiple systems and functions — not just payroll or basic HR support.
Professional services, legal, or other enterprise environments are helpful but not required.
