This position is within the Connectivity and Collaboration services (CCS), Office of Information and Technology (OIT), Core Network Services (CNS), Network Operations, Campus Networking, Network Isolation Architecture (NIA) team. The incumbent serves as a supervisor responsible for providing subject matter expertise and oversight to the full range of IT duties associated with Campus Networking and the isolation of special purpose systems through access control lists and firewall policies.

Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below at a proficiency level equivalent to the next lower grade level in federal service.

Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS‑12 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
Supervised teams of IT specialists, contractors, and network technicians responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise network environments. Led advanced planning, design, configuration, and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Managed complex network modernization projects and oversaw daily operations such as performance monitoring, fault isolation, change control, and contingency planning. Authored technical documentation and communicated complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
