Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and maintain server, storage, and cloud infrastructure across production and non‑production environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and adherence to SLAs.
- Build and maintain automation for system provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and incident handling.
- Act as an escalation point for complex operational issues, driving root‑cause analysis and long‑term remediation.
- Develop and maintain detailed system architecture documentation, runbooks, and operational standards.
- Implement and manage robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Security, Dev Ops, Network Engineering, and Application teams to ensure end‑to‑end platform stability.
- Drive lifecycle management for infrastructure components, including patching, upgrades, and capacity planning.
- Participate in the on‑call rotation and lead response efforts during major incidents.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to continuously improve operational maturity.
- Design and deploy new infrastructure solutions, automate workflows, provisioning, and system management tasks.
- Lead root‑cause analysis and long‑term remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for projects and platform improvements.
- Support SAFe/Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative delivery cycles.
- Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure roadmap development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or operations, with emphasis on production‑grade infrastructure.
- Strong expertise with Linux and/or Windows server administration.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience managing containerized applications and orchestration tools (Docker, containerd, Kubernetes, Nomad, etc.).
- Proficiency with Git‑based version control systems (Git Hub, Git Lab, Bitbucket).
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (Power Shell, Python, Bash).
- Hands‑on experience with monitoring and observability platforms.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, routing).
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, etc.).
- Proven experience in incident management and root‑cause analysis.
- Experience designing, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise‑grade networks, including Layer 2/3 switching, routing protocols, load balancers, and network security controls.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops workflows.
- Working knowledge of SAFe and Agile practices, including participation in ceremonies and alignment to iterative delivery workflows.
- Background with identity management, SSO, and enterprise authentication systems.
- Certifications in cloud or systems engineering fields (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator or Architect, Red Hat Certified Engineer, ITIL Foundation, etc.).
