Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically strong Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable reporting and data pipelines, with a primary focus on Domo as our core BI platform.

This individual will play a critical role in connecting data across systems (ERP, HCM, CRM, and operational platforms), transforming it into reliable datasets, and delivering insights that support Finance, Operations, and executive leadership. A strong emphasis will be placed on data integration (APIs), Power Query transformation, and building sustainable, automated reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate combines technical BI expertise with business acumen, particularly in financial and operational analytics and thrives working with large, complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities Domo Development & Administration
  • Build and maintain scalable dashboards, dataflows, and datasets in Domo.
  • Manage connectors, pipelines, and platform administration (access, governance, performance).
  • Establish and maintain trusted, business-ready datasets.
Data Integration & Transformation
  • Integrate data across systems using APIs, connectors, and automated pipelines.
  • Transform and model data using Power Query (M language), Domo (Magic ETL/SQL), and other tools.
  • Ensure reliable, efficient data flow and troubleshoot pipeline issues.
Analysis & Business Partnership
  • Analyze large datasets to deliver actionable insights for Finance, Operations, and leadership.
  • Support reporting on key financial and operational metrics (e.g., revenue, margin, utilization).
  • Translate business needs into scalable reporting and data solutions.
BI Tooling & Automation
  • Leverage Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Python (preferred) for reporting, analysis, and automation.
  • Reduce manual reporting through scalable, repeatable data processes using AI where possible.
Data Quality & Governance
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
  • Maintain documentation, definitions, and governance standards for datasets.
Qualifications Required
  • 4–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field of study.
  • Hands‑on experience with Domo (dashboarding, ETL/dataflows, dataset management).
  • Strong experience with Power Query (M language) for data transformation and automation.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple sources using APIs, connectors, or ETL tools.
  • Experience with Power BI for reporting and visualization.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting Finance or FP&A teams with financial and operational reporting.
  • Experience with building and supporting AI analytic tools.
  • Familiarity with key financial metrics (revenue, margin, forecasting, etc.).
  • Experience with Python for data analysis, automation, or API interaction.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and modern data integration patterns.
  • Exposure to data warehousing or cloud data platforms.
  • Experience integrating data from ERP, HCM, CRM, or other enterprise systems.
  • Experience in construction, field services, or project-based environments is a plus.
Key Competencies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured data solutions.
  • Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Bias toward automation and building scalable, repeatable solutions.
  • Commitment to data accuracy, governance, and building trust in reporting.
