Forge Rock Developer
We are seeking an experienced Forge Rock Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using the Forge Rock Identity Platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Forge Rock components including AM (Access Management), IDM (Identity Management), DS (Directory Services), and IG (Identity Gateway), as well as strong skills in Java, REST APIs, and identity protocols like OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Forge Rock Identity Platform components (AM, IDM, DS, IG) based IAM solutions.
- Configure authentication modules, policies, and custom workflows.
- Integrate Forge Rock solutions with external systems using REST APIs, SAML, OAuth2, and OIDC.
- Develop custom plugins, scripts (Groovy, JavaScript), and extensions as needed.
- Set up and maintain directory services using Forge Rock Directory Services (DS).
- Implement self-service features such as registration, password reset, and account recovery.
- Collaborate with security, Dev Ops, and application teams to align IAM solutions with enterprise architecture.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to identity services.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and processes.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working with Forge Rock IAM components (AM, IDM, DS, IG).
- Strong development experience in Java, Groovy, JavaScript.
- In-depth understanding of identity protocols: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML 2.0, LDAP.
- Experience in customizing and integrating Forge Rock AM with other applications.
- Hands-on experience in directory services (LDAP/DS).
- Familiarity with Dev Ops tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of security and access control concepts.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forge Rock Certified Specialist or Professional.
- Experience migrating IAM solutions to Forge Rock or upgrading Forge Rock versions.
- Exposure to cloud-based IAM deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for IAM deployments.
