Consultant For Google Workspace Transition

The Utah Department of Transportation and the Utah Department of Technology Services is seeking a consultant to “sit” side by side with our programmers and technology staff to develop in the Google Workspace environment. Specific experience with helping organizations transition to Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) is required. Tasks include:

• Migrating existing applications & workflows currently in Microsoft SharePoint to Google Workspace.
• Creating new applications in the Google Workspace environment.
• Training staff on best practices for developing in Google Workspace.
• Advise UDOT on the potential/possibilities of Google Workspace.
• Help with tips on the use of Google App Sheet.

The consultant may work remotely and is expected to collaborate using Google Workspace. Initial contract will be part-time through June 2021, with options to extend beyond that time period if mutually agreeable. The successful candidate will be selected based on their ability to be a productive team member and documented experience.
