Service Now Onsite Consultant/Developer/Administrator
We are seeking an experienced Service Now professional to join our team onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Service Now development and configuration, combined with the ability to engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality implementations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Design, configure, and customize Service Now applications, modules, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain Service Now solutions including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge, CMDB, and ITSM/ITOM/HRSD modules.
- Create and manage Service Now integrations with other enterprise tools using APIs, web services, and integration hubs.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of applications.
- Ensure platform stability, compliance, and best practices.
- Provide technical documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Support production issues, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience in Service Now development, administration, or consulting.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Catalog Items, and Workflows.
- Experience with Service Now ITSM (mandatory) and exposure to ITOM, CSM, HRSD, Sec Ops, or GRC (preferred).
- Strong understanding of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping concepts.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and scripting.
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; additional certifications (CIS, CAD, ITSM) preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Scoped Applications, UI Builder, App Engine Studio, or Performance Analytics.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and use of tools like Jira or Azure Dev Ops.
- Exposure to Service Now upgrades and migration projects.
