Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position Summary The ERP Readiness and Adoption Manager is responsible for preparing business units and sites for successful ERP implementation and sustained adoption. This role owns the business-readiness workstream for ERP initiatives, coordinating process readiness, data governance, training, documentation, go-live preparation, and post-implementation stabilization.

The initial focus of the role will be to help stabilize ERP-related operations at the manufacturing facilities, document and improve the current SAP Business One environment, and prepare the organization for a transition to a new SaaS ERP platform. Before the new platform is selected, this position will develop the current-state process and data baseline needed to evaluate potential solutions. Following selection, the role will serve as the primary point person for mapping processes, data, roles, controls, reports, and operating procedures between SAP Business One and the future ERP solution.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced ERP transformation professional who can operate with limited day-to-day direction. The successful candidate will be expected to create structure where processes or ownership are unclear, build practical work plans, identify missing information, convene the right stakeholders, facilitate decisions, and drive activities through completion.

The ERP Readiness and Adoption Manager will work closely with business leaders, site personnel, process owners, subject-matter experts, IT teams, the ERP vendor, and implementation partners. The position does not require direct reports initially but will coordinate site champions, super users, contractors, and other project resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities ERP Process Discovery and System Transition Lead cross-functional discovery workshops to document current-state ERP processes, system usage, integrations, reports, controls, roles, master data, workarounds, and local practices.

Identify SAP Business One process, data, documentation, and support gaps, and coordinate practical stabilization actions without creating unnecessary customization or technical debt.

Develop and maintain end-to-end process inventories, current-state maps, business scenarios, requirements, data profiles, reporting needs, and demonstration scripts to support ERP evaluation and implementation.

Following ERP selection, own the SAP Business One-to-target-system crosswalk for processes, data, roles, reports, integrations, controls, and documentation, and facilitate fit-to-standard and future-state design workshops.

Maintain traceability across requirements, process designs, configuration decisions, testing, training, and procedures while documenting and driving gaps, risks, dependencies, decisions, and actions to resolution.

Business and Site Readiness Develop and maintain a repeatable ERP readiness framework covering people, process, data, technology, controls, documentation, training, cutover, and support.

Conduct site readiness and change-impact assessments, identifying process variations, organizational impacts, capability gaps, risks, and conditions that could prevent successful deployment or sustained adoption.

Create and manage site-level readiness plans, scorecards, action registers, milestones, dependencies, escalation paths, readiness criteria, and implementation-stage exit requirements.

Translate identified impacts into specific actions for process decisions, role clarity, data remediation, training, communications, documentation, leadership reinforcement, and local standardization.

Coordinate readiness activities with the overall ERP plan and provide evidence-based go-live recommendations, escalating unresolved risks with clear business impacts and practical mitigation plans.

ERP Data Governance and Migration Readiness Establish ERP data-governance practices with process owners, data owners, data stewards, IT, and implementation partners, defining accountability, standards, validation rules, approval workflows, retention requirements, and quality expectations.

Develop and maintain data dictionaries, ownership matrices, critical data definitions, data-quality rules, transformation logic, mapping decisions, reconciliation results, and business approvals.

Map SAP Business One master and transactional data to the future ERP model, identifying gaps, duplicates, obsolete records, inconsistent definitions, and required transformations.

Coordinate data profiling, cleansing, deduplication, enrichment, archival, remediation, historical-data disposition, mock conversions, validation, reconciliation, and migration signoff.

Establish repeatable validation procedures and data-readiness metrics, track remediation progress, and escalate unresolved data-quality or ownership issues.

Training, Documentation, and User Adoption Conduct role-based training-needs assessments and develop a training strategy covering project teams, process owners, super users, end users, new hires, refresher training, and future SaaS…
