Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to join our team located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

• Source and procure commodities such as hardware components, COTS items, and machined components in support of production programs.
• Apply procurement processes, including price analysis, negotiations, policies, and procedures, and familiarity with FAR and DFARS.
• Place and oversee procurement packages.
• Initiate Requests for Quotations and Proposals, analyze proposed pricing from suppliers.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier quality, reliability, and delivery schedules in conjunction with the quality organization.
• Ensure specifications are appropriate for internal customers.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and manage risk through targeted negotiations.
• Manage purchase order performance and ensure compliance with public law, company policies, and import/export regulations.
• Reconcile and approve supplier invoices.
• Collaborate with Programs and other organizations within and outside Global Supply Chain.
• Plan, schedule, and arrange activities to accomplish objectives.
• Maintain outstanding written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate strong organization.
• Provide documentation to logistics, transportation, and warehouse organizations to record proper receipt.
• Review and approve supplier payments as needed.
• Use sound business practices and assess supplier performance during follow‑up activities.

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience or a Master’s degree with 0 years of experience in procurement or related fields; 6 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system.
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience managing suppliers on cost, schedule, and quality.
• Professional experience in a regulated industry such as aerospace & defense, insurance, financial services, or telecommunications.
• Experience with Critical Path Management, FAR, and DFARS.
• Experience negotiating terms and conditions in a corporate setting.
• Experience with government purchasing and contracting.
• Experience analyzing data to formulate and execute negotiation strategies.
• Experience administering high‑value purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Experience leading projects in supply chain.
• Experience communicating written and verbally in a global supply‑chain environment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $59,600.00 – $89,400.00. The range is a guideline; final compensation may vary based on scope, responsibilities, and candidate experience.
