We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our Industrial PVF team. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers, Outside Sales Reps, vendors, and contractors to coordinate project submittals, track materials, prepare quotes, and ensure project deliveries align with project schedules.

This is an ideal role for someone with foundational knowledge of PVF materials looking to advance into full project management or sales account management within the industrial distribution space.

• Project Support: Assist Senior Project Managers in tracking materials, reviewing project specifications, and coordinating order fulfillment for large-scale industrial PVF projects.
• Bidding & Estimating: Review plan specs, takeoffs, and line item requirements to generate accurate material quotes for carbon steel, stainless steel, thermoplastic pipe, valves, and specialized fittings.
• Vendor & Order Coordination: Interface directly with key manufacturers, mills, and suppliers to negotiate lead times, verify material availability, and process purchase orders.
• Customer Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for mechanical contractors, engineers, and job-site superintendents regarding order status, delivery timelines, and submittals.
• Expediting & Logistics: Monitor material staging, coordinate job site deliveries with our warehouse/logistics team, and proactively resolve shipping delays or field change orders.
• Discrepancy Management: Resolve billing, order, or material return issues promptly to ensure clean job tracking and client satisfaction.

  Experience:
  
  1–3+ years of experience in PVF distribution, industrial piping supply, mechanical contracting, or construction material sales.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of pipe, valve, and fitting specifications (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC/CPVC, grooved, welded, flanged).

  Proficiency in MS Excel and general ERP system usage (experience with Eclipse or Winsupply systems is a plus).
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Organization: Strong multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Education: High school diploma required;
  Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Supply Chain, or Business is preferred.
