Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The PT Close Maintenance position is to maintain high standard of cleanliness throughout the building to insure that customers enjoy continued cleanliness and neat appearance including all public areas, restrooms, locker rooms, lobbies, and hallways. Check building equipment in the morning and take the pool readings throughout the day. Set up and break down banquet parties as required.

• Understand the JCC emergency codes and responsibilities of staff to respond to emergencies
• Be aware of and report safety and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain compliance with all JCC policies and Facilities Department procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous experience in maintenance is a plus, but not required. Training is available and encouraged.

• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed parameters and routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Must be able to read and understand instructions for cleaning chemicals.
• Must be able to cooperate, assist and support.
• Must be able to use an iPad.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs

Salary: Under $25,000
