Job Summary: The position primarily performs repairs and maintenance on existing security systems and modifications to those systems. This may involve sequence testing, project graphics, and point to point verification ensuring the system runs as efficiently as possible. The role works independently at client or project sites to properly maintain security systems and provide diagnostic and repair services, contributing to a safe work culture.
OperationalVerification
- Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with owner requirements or detect malfunctions.
- Inspect systems to determine proper operation.
- Review plans, specifications, and design to understand site requirements.
- Ensure proper installation of components.
- Adjust system controls to settings recommended by manufacturer to balance system performance.
- Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Test components for proper functioning.
- Diagnose, test, or analyze performance of system components, assemblies, or systems.
- Create images for various wirings, designs, or system dashboards.
- Produce electrical, electronic, or mechanical drawings, sketches, blueprints, engineering instructions for assembling electronics units, or other related documents or graphics necessary for HVAC design.
- Design images/maps of HVAC control systems within a building.
- Repair or service HVAC control systems to improve efficiency or operational performance.
- Discuss control system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or verify that repairs corrected malfunctions.
- Repair or replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts.
- Advise others on issues related to repairs, installation, or equipment design.
- Record and report time, materials, faults, deficiencies, or other unusual occurrences on work orders.
- Complete customer service and expense reports.
- Document operational activities.
- Compile job documentation such as certificates of completion, customer training forms, training certificates, and punch lists.
- 5+ years of experience and/or training in the electrical field.
- 2+ years of using IP camera and card access systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Pay Range: $28.83 - $43.25 per hour. The actual offer will vary based on qualifications and location.
