Facilities / Maintenance Technicians perform general maintenance and repairs, including light carpentry, basic electrical, HVAC, grounds maintenance, and arranging furniture and partitions. They assist employees with internal moves, work with specialized outside contractors, and may have formal training in one or more trades.
Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance and repairs as described in the Job Summary.
- Assist employees with internal moves.
- Coordinate with specialized outside contractors as needed.
- Complete routine tasks under moderate supervision (for Technician II) or assignments with little supervision and assist less‑experienced team members (for Technician III).
- Maintain accurate completion records and report needs for maintenance tasks.
- At least 1 year of related experience for Technician II.
- 3+ years of related experience for Technician III.
- 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (e.g., a bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
