We are building a national, LTL-first brokerage platform focused on small-to-medium businesses and essential industries. We are seeking a hands‑on leader to architect, launch, and scale our LTL brokerage division, including recruiting and managing commission‑based freight agents nationwide.

This is a revenue-driving leadership role and not a back‑office logistics position.

Core Responsibilities

1. LTL Strategy & Carrier Relations

  • Develop and execute national LTL growth strategy
  • Negotiate and manage carrier relationships with major LTL networks
  • Build standardized pricing discipline across agent network

2. Agent Recruitment & Management

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage commission‑based freight agents
  • Establish performance benchmarks and production standards
  • Implement margin accountability and reporting discipline
  • Build scalable compensation and incentive systems

3. Brokerage Operations & Systems

  • Lead implementation and optimization of Revenova TMS
  • Standardize quoting, rating, and shipment visibility processes
  • Coordinate with internal marketing team for lead flow distribution
  • Ensure shipment tracking and service‑level reliability

4. 3PL Expansion (Phase 2 Growth)

  • Develop consultative logistics offerings
  • Identify opportunities for long‑term contract relationships
  • Expand into verticals such as healthcare, education, and essential goods
Ideal Background
  • 7+ years in U.S. domestic freight brokerage
  • Direct experience with national LTL carriers
  • Experience managing freight agents or brokerage sales teams
  • Strong understanding of LTL pricing mechanics
  • Demonstrated P&L responsibility
  • Experience scaling revenue in a brokerage environment
What This Is NOT
  • Not a corporate supply chain role
  • Not international freight forwarding
  • This is a revenue leadership role.
Compensation Structure
  • This position begins as commission‑based, tied directly to personal production and team‑generated revenue.
  • As the division scales and defined revenue benchmarks are met, the role transitions into a structured salary plus performance bonus model tied to margin milestones and growth targets.
