As a District Manager, you will provide strategic, hands‑on leadership for multiple scrap metal recycling facilities throughout Weber and Salt Lake counties—shaping safety culture, driving profitability, and developing strong leaders who deliver results. This is a highly visible leadership role where your decisions directly impact safety, customer experience, operational efficiency, and financial success.

• Safety Leadership: Champion a culture where safety comes first, set high standards and ensure consistent compliance across all locations, lead proactive hazard prevention and continuous improvement efforts, and hold teams accountable while empowering them to take ownership.
• Operational Excellence: Drive consistent performance across multiple facilities, oversee purchasing, processing, upgrading, and shipping operations, improve labor efficiency, throughput, and workflow, standardize best practices, and ensure disciplined inventory control and shipping cadence.
• Financial Performance: Translate operational results into financial gains by analyzing performance data and key metrics, driving margin improvement and cost‑control initiatives, and aligning operational decisions with financial goals.
• Leadership & Talent Development: Coach and develop General Managers and Yard Foremen, strengthen leadership pipelines and bench strength, improve hiring quality and reduce turnover, and foster a culture built on integrity, accountability, respect, and growth.
• Strategy & Continuous Improvement: Develop reporting tools that drive clarity and accountability, identify performance gaps and implement structured improvement plans, and ensure lasting results through follow‑up and measurement.

• Proven success improving safety, profitability, and team performance.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• A track record of developing leaders and building accountability.
• High integrity, resilience, and a results‑driven mindset.
• Comfort leading through change and complexity.
• 5–10 years of managing multiple teams; experience managing teams in different locations is a bonus.

Day shift, Monday through Friday.

You will be based out of the Metro Group main location but will be required to visit Southern District yards.
