Pay & Benefits
Pay of $34.94 to $36.39 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Opportunities for overtime and shift premiums. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.

Role overview
Want to lead a Team that keeps planes moving safely and on time? Ramp Supervisors at Southwest Airlines manage Ramp Agents, ensure aircraft arrive and depart on schedule, guide the team, enforce safety rules, and keep equipment ready for use. Supervisors handle scheduling, training, and daily reports. They collaborate with other Airport Operations Teams to solve problems and share updates. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people and helping Southwest deliver safe, efficient, and on-time service every day.

- The Supervisor Ramp works assigned shifts based on seniority. Shifts can include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Actively coordinate with all Departments to maintain the station's on-time performance, employee morale, and Customer satisfaction
- Monitor and guide ground support performance to ensure requirements are met
- Ensure all equipment including GSE is maintained and available for the operation
- Oversee day-to-day airport operations to create a safe, secure, and legally compliant service-conscious environment; meet or exceed performance goals through effective decision making; monitor and assign gate control for flights; assign and track Agents for training compliance
- Maintain a safe working environment and institute programs to reduce accidents and injuries
- Coordinate actively with all Departments to maintain the Station's on-time performance and report status updates to leaders and employees consistently
- Drive performance processes by forecasting operational situations that may impact the operation, monitoring and achieving results against key metrics, and holding responsible parties accountable for results; review and ensure accurate delay coding
- Work with staff planning to build bids aligned with the Department’s hourly goals
- Perform administrative duties daily, such as building and closing shift bids, daily work assignments, payroll, attendance reports, and monitoring staffing; verify overtime usage
