We are hiring a Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to build the infrastructure that powers Ashby’s talent acquisition platform. You will own projects end‑to‑end, ship features fast, and help scale the product to millions of users.

• Optimize and extend Ashby’s DSL‑to‑SQL compiler and build tooling for developers.
• Implement automated guardrails to secure customer data.
• Ship features with canary deployments, rollouts, and feature flags while keeping downtime minimal.
• Define, measure, and improve SLOs and SLIs with the business and engineering teams.
• Implement event‑driven architecture and data warehouse infrastructure.

• Own end‑to‑end engineering projects.
• Debug and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Write clean, production‑ready code and review peers’ work.
• Advise on reliability, security, and scalability best practices.

• 5+ years of full‑stack or infrastructure engineering with production experience.
• Strong experience with Type Script, Node, React, Graph
  
  QL, Postgres, Redis, AWS, Datadog, and Sentry.
• Deep knowledge of reliability engineering concepts: SLOs, SLIs, canary releases, circuit breakers, and event‑driven design.
• Excellent communication skills and a self‑starter attitude.
