Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Onsite) (Flexan - 4752 California Ave. Bldg B Suite 700 Salt Lake City, UT 84104)

Shift: 2nd Shift (Mon - Friday AM 3pm - 1:30am)

The Quality Inspector performs activities related to quality assurance including, but not limited to:
Inspection of components and finished goods, completing associated documentation, and support of other quality-related activities.

• Visual inspection, measurement, and functional testing of components and finished assemblies
• Perform other inspection activities as needed for process validations
• Document nonconformances when defects are identified
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• General document review, scanning, and filing of quality records

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years’ experience performing inspections in a medical device manufacturing environment or equivalent

• Knowledge of the application of sampling techniques
• Knowledge of good documentation practices in a regulated environment
• Ability to apply basic quality tools for problem-solving and improvement
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply a high level of attention to detail and work independently or as a team
• The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee is required to work in a cleanroom environment and follow gowning procedures, hairnet usage, and appropriate PPE requirements.

• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to use gauges and measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision systems, pin gauges, etc.
• Ability to follow controlled quality document instructions when performing tasks
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds

This position will be based at our site in Salt Lake City, UT, with no travel.
