Calibration Technician

Western States Calibration is seeking 2 Calibration Technicians to perform hands‑on technical work in a precision measurement laboratory. No experience is required; we provide full training. You’ll work with a wide range of measurement equipment, follow detailed procedures, and help ensure accuracy for industries like aerospace, manufacturing, and medical devices. This is a stable, detail‑focused role with real opportunities for growth.

We are also hiring for an Onsite Calibration Technician to perform calibrations at our customers' facilities. Looking for someone with some knowledge of electronics and understanding of basic electrical.

• Perform calibrations on inspection, measurement, and test equipment
• Document results clearly and accurately following quality system requirements
• Operate measurement standards and reference equipment with consistency
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and assist in determining next steps
• Handle and store calibration standards and customer equipment properly
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
• Participate in ongoing training and development

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Competence in basic math and algebra
• Ability to read and follow written procedures
• Ability to use standard hand tools (wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers)
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
