Job Description

I am seeking skilled Solder Technicians to join our client's team where you will play a crucial role in crimping and soldering electrical harnesses, ensuring the highest quality of assembly for their products. This role requires hands-on experience with soldering, and a solder test will be conducted during the interview process.

• Crimp and solder electrical harnesses using various hand tools.
• Disassemble products, clean them, and prepare them for reassembly.
• Solder wires to bulkheads as part of the interview test.
• Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional deficiencies.
• Prepare and assemble electro/mechanical parts using mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Learn to bench test, environmentally test, and pressure test ILI tool sub-assemblies.
• Acquire skills for building, repairing, and maintaining TDW ILI Tool components.
• Implement approved safety procedures to ensure personal safety.
• Respond to customer requirements and address problem-solving aspects of all TDW ILI Systems Technician tasks.
• Develop experience and competencies to become a TDW Systems Technician.

• Soldering experience.
• Attention to detail.
• Experience with surface mount and electronic assembly.
• Ability to perform microscope inspection.

• Knowledge of IPC J-STD, 610, & 620 soldering standards is a plus.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Experience with electronics, surface-mount technology, and circuit boards.
• Process-oriented and mechanically inclined.
• Troubleshooting skills are highly desirable.

Work in a clean and organized facility with a flexible schedule of Monday to Friday, either 8:00am-4:30pm or 7:00am-3:30pm, depending on your preference.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Salt Lake City,UT.
