Quality Manager | ISO Certification

Are you an experienced Quality Manager who is an expert in ISO 9001? Are you a Quality Manager who has led (or been a part of) ISO 90001 certification process end-to-end? Are you a Quality Manager with experience in establishing the standard for quality in small and medium-sized manufacturing environments? This growing, privately-held manufacturer in Salt Lake City is a leader in their vertical and currently expanding into new business lines and products. Due to growth, they are bringing on a Quality Manager to lead the program for Quality, with a specific focus on ISO 9001. Since this fell under the COO previously, a lot of the groundwork is done and this person will be fully empowered to own the certification process - this high-impact role reports to the COO.

• Own, lead, and execute the full ISO 9001 certification process from start to finish
• Design, implement, and manage the quality management system with ISO 9001 as the foundation
• Design and lead all quality-related training programs across the organization
• Design documented processes and systems, including value stream mapping, that support consistency and scalability
• Work closely with production teams in a hands-on, onsite environment
• Act as a bridge-builder who invites collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Partner closely with the COO and leadership team to align quality initiatives with business growth

• Strong experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment
• Experience designing, implementing, and leading ISO 9001 processes
• Have led or been HEAVILY involved in the ISO 9001 certification process from scratch (multiple certifications preferred)
• Experience with value stream mapping and documented process development
• Experience designing and leading training programs for systems and processes
• Strong communicator who is as comfortable presenting to a board as they are leading teams on the floor
• Highly collaborative and communicative leadership style - bring people into a process rather than impose a new process on the team
• Comfortable being hands-on on the production floor while also thinking strategically
• The ability to work on-site in West Jordan (part of Salt Lake City), Utah - relocation provided!
