Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are a global provider of advanced manufacturing systems and engineered production solutions for dynamic production environments. From our Americas hub in Salt Lake City, we support customers across North, Central, and South America with technical service, installation, maintenance, and training. Known for quality, reliability, and long-term partnerships, we help manufacturers operate efficiently and perform at the highest level.

Your Role:

As a Pump Engineer, you will take full ownership of the mechanical overhaul and restoration of highly precise industrial pumps. Customers ship their equipment to our Salt Lake City facility, where you will systematically disassemble, inspect, measure, document, repair, and reassemble each unit to exacting tolerances. This role is critical to ensuring equipment leaves our facility fully qualified, tested, and operating to original performance standards — or better.

What You’ll Do:
  • Systematically disassemble, inspect, clean, and measure customer pumps to extremely fine tolerances using precision instruments and hand tools
  • Identify wear, diagnose issues, specify parts, and document findings clearly for parts procurement and repair scope
  • Reassemble pumps and perform comprehensive testing and qualification to verify performance standards
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and measurements to guide overhaul work
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records, and support the shop’s transition to digital formats
  • Collaborate with teammates and operations to improve workflow, cycle time, and process efficiency while sustaining quality and safety
What You’ll Bring :
  • 7+ years of experience performing precision mechanical repair and assembly
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on disassembly, inspection, and reassembly experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work with fine tolerances (ten‑thousandths preferred) and precision tools
  • Capability to interpret technical drawings and follow systematic work processes
  • High level of organization and attention to detail, with excellent documentation skills
  • Flexible, no‑nonsense attitude with ownership mentality and ability to adapt to change
