Advance Welders operate and produce to customer’s specifications while using job work orders and blueprints. This position works closely with other manufacturing departments while ensuring a safe and lean workspace. This position will embrace and encourage continuous improvement initiatives.

• Proficient in assigned welding techniques
• Interpretation of shop drawings, including weld wire symbology.
• Implement knowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and galvanized metal.
• Use of conventional and precision measuring instruments
• Process inspection, certification, and documentation
• Welding equipment maintenance
• Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
• Implement Safety and housekeeping daily
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

• High School diploma, or equivalent preferred.
• Welding Diploma or applicable years of experience
• Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters
• Ability to read tape measure
• Successful completion of an internal welding test
• Must be able to stand for long periods
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout a 10-hour shift
• Must be willing to cross train in other areas
