About Us

Arbor and Ore is a high-end, residential custom cabinetry shop known for craftsmanship, precision technology, and exceptional quality. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a skilled and detail‑driven leader to oversee our panel processing department.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Panel Processing Production Manager to lead and manage a two-person team consisting of a CNC operator and an edgebander operator. The ideal candidate has hands‑on CNC experience, a background in high‑end custom cabinetry, and a strong understanding of panel processing workflows.

This role is essential to ensuring efficient throughput, consistent quality, and smooth day-to-day operations within our panel processing area. Responsibilities include verifying materials, ensuring cut parts meet dimensional and quality standards, and organizing carts effectively for downstream production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the panel processing team (CNC + edgebander).
  • Coordinate and schedule production to maintain efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
  • Review cut lists, material requirements, and production documents for accuracy.
  • Ensure all output meets the standards required for luxury residential cabinetry.
  • Troubleshoot machinery, programming issues, and quality concerns as they arise.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure smooth transitions between departments.
  • Train team members on equipment, processes, and best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

  • High‑end cabinetry or millwork background required.
  • CNC experience preferred (programming, nesting, setup).
  • Experience with panel saws, edgebanders, and other panel‑processing equipment is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and detailed cut lists.
  • Knowledge of laminate, veneer, melamine, and specialty panel materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to fine craftsmanship.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and production‑related issues.
  • Previous team leadership or production management experience is highly valued.

What We’re Looking For

We want someone who understands that luxury cabinetry is not mass production — it’s precision work. The ideal candidate has a craftsman’s mindset, cares deeply about details, and takes pride in producing parts that fit together flawlessly and elevate the final product.
