Web Press Operator - 2nd Shift
Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Hourly Pay Rate: $25.00+ Plus $1.75 Shift Differential + $0.50/hr wage increase eligible after 90 days
Vericast offers a year-round TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED, BRIGHT, CLEAN manufacturing printing team-based environment.
JOB SUMMARYResponsible for the daily operation of web presses as directed by the press operator. Maintain cleanliness and operation of press. Coordinate with internal agencies for required materials: i.e. ink plate paper tape etc. Ensure accuracy of printed material coming from the press.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Press Start-up Procedures:
Daily/Weekly Maintenance and Safety checks. - Machine operation to include: print unit setup, numbering unit setup, process unit setup, delivery unit setup and other operations necessary to complete print operator duties.
- Quality inspections: before print, while printing and after.
- Clean up and shut down procedures/End of shift activities.
- Communication.
- Lifting requirements: 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. on occasion
