About The Job
The Asset Maintenance Tech II plays a key role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing rental equipment. This position handles more complex repairs, manages inventory, and mentors less experienced team members. Key Responsibilities- Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment, ensuring units are rental-ready.
- Lead inventory control, including cycle counts and necessary adjustments.
- Inspect equipment for quality assurance and ensure accurate documentation of check sheets.
- Manage work orders, recording all parts, labor, and related items.
- Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Operate a forklift as needed to move equipment and supplies.
- Mentor and train junior technicians on maintenance and safety procedures.
- Occasionally deliver or pick up equipment from customer locations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations
- Delivers and/or picks up berms from customers
- Other duties as assigned
- Monday to Friday schedule

Job Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repairs, or a related field
- Proven experience with inventory control and cycle counts
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required
- Welding experience is preferred
- Forklift certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in the rental/pump industry strongly preferred
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members
