Plant Manager

We are partnering with an established, growing manufacturer of precision respiratory, oxygen-analysis and gas-technology products used across healthcare, medical-device and other highly technical applications.

The organization develops and manufactures products that support respiratory care, oxygen monitoring, gas analysis and related applications. The Salt Lake City operation is part of a broader global organization with a strong engineering and manufacturing heritage and a focus on quality, reliability, innovation and operational excellence.

We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead the Salt Lake City manufacturing operation and provide overall leadership across production, operations and continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the operation, developing teams, improving processes and driving measurable manufacturing performance.

The Plant Manager will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the manufacturing facility and will lead a team of more than 100 employees.

This leader will be responsible for driving a culture of operational excellence, accountability, continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration, while ensuring the facility meets its production, quality, delivery and business objectives.

• Lead the overall manufacturing operation and provide strategic and day-to-day leadership for a 100+ employee facility.
• Develop, coach and lead manufacturing and operations teams while building a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational excellence across production, quality, supply chain, engineering and other cross-functional functions.
• Establish and monitor key operational KPIs related to productivity, quality, delivery, cost, safety and overall plant performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, efficiency and capacity.
• Partner closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance and other functional leaders to ensure alignment across the operation.
• Lead major projects and operational initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Provide leadership around supply chain, materials, production planning and manufacturing flow.
• Oversee and improve machine shop and manufacturing operations where applicable.
• Participate in or lead ERP implementations, system transitions or significant ERP optimization initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, increase productivity and strengthen operational performance.
• Ensure manufacturing activities operate within applicable quality, regulatory and safety requirements.
• Develop and execute operational plans that support the organization's broader business objectives.
• Build strong relationships across the organization and serve as a key leader within the site.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced manufacturing leader who has successfully managed a sizable production facility and understands how to balance people leadership, operational performance and continuous improvement.

• Approximately 5–8+ years of progressive manufacturing or plant leadership experience.
• Experience managing a manufacturing facility with 100+ employees.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Management or a related field.
• Experience with in a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, automotive or another highly controlled industry is preferred.
• Experience with supply chain, materials or machine shop operations.
