Compensation: $-$ + 10% Quarter Bonus + 12% 401k
An established manufacturer of reinforcement mesh and bars is seeking a Plant Manager to lead its production facility. This role oversees daily operations, drives production efficiency, maintains product quality, and fosters a safe, collaborative work environment, making it a key leadership position within the plant.
What you'll do- Oversee production of reinforcement mesh and bars, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules
- Optimize workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement
- Lead, train, and motivate the plant team, including supervisors and production staff
- Establish clear goals and performance expectations for all team members
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed
- Promote a safe working environment for all employees
- Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high product standards
- Address customer complaints or quality issues in a timely and effective manner
- Oversee maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure reliability and efficiency of production assets
- Develop and manage the plant's operational budget
- Monitor expenses and implement cost‑saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety
- Contribute to the development of long‑term strategies for growth and competitiveness
- Evaluate and implement new technologies or processes to enhance production capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality management systems, and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in production management software and standard office applications
- Experience preferably in Wire Mesh manufacturing, steel, construction materials, or related industries
- Salary of $-$ plus 10% Quarter Bonus
- 12% 401k match (voluntary plan)
