CPLC is excited to begin building better tomorrows in UTAH! We are actively searching for a market Program Manager to kick off our efforts in a new state.

LOCATION: This role will be community-based and hybrid remote in Utah to start as we search for our perfect headquarters, then will transition to prioritizing in-person presence.

SALARY: $70,000-$80,000 DOE to start

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

As the first active presence in Utah, you will lead the development and implementation of programs within CPLC’s Integrated Health, Social Services and Education division in Utah. Your effort will be crucial in establishing CPLC’s presence in a new region by fostering strategic partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring high-quality services that align with community needs and organizational goals.

As we start building, you will provide leadership, oversight, and program development for CPLC in Utah, serving as the primary representative of the organization in the region. You will get the opportunity to excercise independent judgment and strategic decision-making and vision to expand CPLC’s footprint through community engagement, relationship-building with funders and foundations, and collaboration with other nonprofits and stakeholders. Conducting needs assessments and utilizing data-driven approaches to design and grow programs that address local priorities will be part of your process.

Acting as the face of CPLC, you will ensure integration into the community, promote organizational values, and drive initiatives that strengthen CPLC’s impact and sustainability in Utah!

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position will directly supervise exempt and non-exempt staff within assigned programs. You will be responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure compliance with organizational standards and contractual requirements. This role provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering a collaborative, inclusive and high-performance culture.

You are located in Utah and understand the different communities Utah has to offer, actively participating in community- and relationship-building. You understand the needs of the community and are able to create productive connections and local and state partnerships that will position CPLC for sustained success. You are someone who has led before (in business, non-profit preferably) and has aspirations to develop into higher level, director roles over time as the work in Utah demands progressive leadership skills.

You have proven ability to be part of the beginning stages of a program, non-profit services or grants, demonstrating creativity, problem-solving, and the ability to evolve your skills and knowledge to meet the needs of each growth stage.
