Position Overview
The INN Between is seeking a compassionate, clinically skilled nurse to join our medical respite and resident care team. This position is intentionally designed with flexibility and may be structured as a Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager/Lead Nurse, or Evening & On-Call Nurse, depending on the candidate's licensure, experience, leadership abilities, and organizational fit.
The ideal candidate will be grounded in trauma-informed care, comfortable working with individuals experiencing homelessness, and able to balance clinical judgment with compassion, dignity, and respect. This role may include direct resident assessment, care planning, staff support, medical respite coordination, regulatory compliance, and/or nursing leadership.
The final scope, schedule, title, and compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and the needs of the organization.

For a qualified RN or experienced nurse leader, this role may include oversight of nursing services, clinical compliance, medication management systems, staff training, resident care planning, and coordination with external healthcare providers.
Nurse Manager / Lead Nurse
For a candidate with strong clinical skills and developing leadership capacity, this role may support day-to-day clinical operations, staff mentorship, resident assessments, care plan development, and coordination with the Executive Director, Administrator, and care team.
Evening & On-Call Nurse
For a candidate best suited to direct clinical support, this role may focus on evening onsite nursing coverage, overnight on-call guidance, resident assessments, staff support, emergency triage, and medical respite care coordination.
