Job Summary

As a Paramedic, you will provide exceptional patient care in our fast‑paced emergency room. You will support nursing staff caring for patients ranging from minor injuries to critical illness.

Responsibilities
  • Inform RN staff of patient chief complaints and presenting symptoms to aid initial assessment.
  • Assist RNs and Physicians with patient and family education.
  • Champion infection surveillance, prevention, and control following established policies.
  • Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, orthopedic skills, Foley insertion, and all transporter duties.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date.
  • Paramedic credential.
  • PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support, or PALS Instructor, must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
